Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at wblandrealty@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Forestry mulching is a land clearing method that uses a specialized machine to cut, grind, and clear vegetation such as brush, small trees, and overgrowth—all in one step. Instead of hauling debris away or burning it, the machine turns the cleared material into mulch, which is left on the ground.

Compared to traditional land clearing methods like bulldozing, forestry mulching is faster, more cost-effective, and less disruptive to the land since it avoids large-scale soil disturbance.

Forestry mulching is often a better option than bulldozing because it is less invasive to the land, does not require hauling or burning debris, and leaves behind a natural mulch layer that helps protect the soil and prevent erosion.

Some regrowth is possible, but forestry mulching knocks it back significantly and makes it much easier to manage. Most customers see a major improvement right away, and any future growth can be quickly handled with light maintenance or mowing.

We keep the process simple, clear, and transparent from start to finish. It begins with a quick conversation about your property and goals, followed by an on-site visit to provide an honest, straightforward estimate.

Once the job is scheduled, we show up on time, walk the property with you if needed, and make sure expectations are aligned before any work begins. During the project, we focus on efficient, high-quality work with minimal disruption to your land.

When the job is complete, we review everything with you to make sure you’re satisfied—no surprises, no hidden costs, just clear communication every step of the way.

Pricing is based on the specific details of your property and the scope of work. Key factors include the size of the area, thickness of vegetation, terrain, accessibility, and the type of material being cleared.

After a quick conversation, we’ll visit the property to give you an accurate, straightforward estimate. Our goal is to provide fair, transparent pricing with no hidden costs—so you know exactly what to expect before any work begins.

Project timelines vary depending on the type of work and the density of the vegetation. Lighter overgrowth can be cleared quickly, while thicker, heavily wooded areas take more time.

On average, we can clear about 1 acre in 3–4 hours, but we’ll give you a more accurate timeframe once we review your property.

We work on a wide range of properties, including residential land, farms and pasture, hunting property, commercial lots, and areas like fence lines, trails, and overgrown acreage.

Not required, as long as we’ve reviewed the scope and expectations beforehand.

Everything is mulched and left as a natural ground cover—no hauling or burning needed.

We serve all of Northern Kentucky, including Florence, Union, Independence, Alexandria, and surrounding areas. We also work further south in places like Dry Ridge, Williamstown, and Falmouth, and we’re happy to take on projects in Central Kentucky as well—just reach out and we’ll let you know if we can help.

Forestry mulching is low-impact and helps protect soil by leaving a mulch layer that reduces erosion.

Forestry mulching can be done year-round, but many property owners choose late fall through early spring when vegetation is thinner and easier to manage, though we can work effectively in any season depending on your land and goals.

We handle brush, small-to-medium trees, and dense overgrowth. Larger trees may require additional equipment or services.
